Tip: Try different source workers and protocols. The same destination can behave very differently from Germany, the US, the Netherlands or future worker locations. Compare protocols →

Independent VPN speed testing from multiple countries

Secure-VPN measures a clean no-VPN baseline immediately before each VPN run, then compares the same worker and throughput path after the tunnel is established. This makes the heatmap a relative performance view rather than a misleading list of raw Mbps values.

Source worker ≠ VPN destination

The source is the physical benchmark worker. The destination is the VPN exit target. Keeping both visible lets the same VPN location be compared from multiple countries as the worker network expands.

Quality-controlled rankings

Baseline failures, high packet loss and bounded retest states are excluded from headline heatmap cells until the v1.6.3 quality layer marks the result rankable.

Protocol-level data

Lightway, NordLynx, OpenVPN and future WireGuard measurements stay separate. Commercial affiliate data is not used in technical performance ranking.
